How we protect your information.

Your information is not sold.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own independent commercial purposes.

• ✓Data is shared only with processors who host or operate the service on our behalf, under written agreements required by Article 28 of the UK GDPR.
• ✓Where an FCA-authorised open banking provider is used, it is engaged to enable a connection you have expressly authorised.
• ✓Your information is not shared with agents, advisers or other partners without a permission you have given.

Open banking connections are used to read, not to move money.

Where you choose to connect a bank account, that connection is made through a regulated, FCA-authorised open banking provider under the Payment Services Regulations 2017, on the basis of authorisation you give directly.

• ✓You choose which accounts to connect, and you can withdraw that authorisation.
• ✓The connection is used to retrieve transaction and balance information so income and expenses can be categorised.
• ✓PROXERA does not initiate payments or move money through this connection.

You decide what is connected, and what is removed.

You can request access to your data, correction of it, or its deletion, under Chapter III of the UK GDPR.

• ✓Account and identity data is deleted within 90 days of account termination.
• ✓Financial and statutory records are retained for a minimum of seven years from the end of the relevant tax year, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
• ✓You may request accelerated deletion of data that is not subject to a statutory retention obligation.

Primarily in the UK and EEA.

Personal data is primarily stored and processed within the United Kingdom and, where applicable, the European Economic Area. Any transfer outside that area is made under the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
